Thank you for being a chamber101.com member!
I don’t have to tell you what members dues mean to any organization.
It keeps the doors open and helps the organization
grow.
You are the ones
that keep
chamber101.com on line for the Chamber industry.
For the rest of you, I often
say if you use it, shouldn't you support it. For
those non-members who, yet, cannot afford membership
to chamber101, you can support it without financial
aid by sending relevant chamber data. The
phrase most people are searching for in search
engines are:
renewal letter, membership
renewal letter, sample of friendly collection
letter, membership letter, friendly reminder letter,
policies, tele-conversation.
Other data needed are policies and procedures;
things that you and your staff see on a daily basis,
how do you handle them.
Other chambers would be interested in seeing
this type of information.
Tell us what you would like to see because I'm sure
other Chambers would like to see the same things,
too, by knowing what you're looking for on our site
will better help us to serve you.
We have been busy laying out 40 foods for thought or
exercises. The other 12 are going to be set aside as
programs that you have asked for.
Something new, something different, something
the same. remember chamber 101 is chuck-full of
ideas. If you're working on a project and you think
you've done everything, check in chamber 101, there
might be something you've missed; or you might find
something that makes your project go a little
smoother.
This week we had two new chambers contact us that
were not in our database and one other said we get
your newsletters but asked, "What is chamber101 all
about?"
I could use your help. The next time we have a Food
for Thought or an exercise that you think you're
neighboring chambers would appreciate reading,
forward the e-mail on to them with or without
comments about chamber101.
Two of my mentors that I met along the way told me:
"Each time we help another Chamber exec, or a Chamber to raise the bar,
it raises the bar for all Chambers; and when we help
another exec grow and his Chamber achieves a higher
standard, we raise the professionalism of all people
and Chambers."
I have tried to carry on their
philosophy for the last 30 years or so, by helping
anyone that asked.
Let us all work together in
2010 and raise the bar for all Chambers.
