What is the main purpose of the Chamber Open?
The Chamber Open
provides a fun-filled day for golfers, members and guests to golf, network
and raise operating revenue for the Chamber of Commerce.
How long has
the event been around?
The 2007 event will the 61st annual!
How many golfers can participate in the
event?
240 – 120 in the morning session and 120 in the afternoon session.
What does the day entail
besides golfing?
There are
numerous chances for networking with fellow Chamber members throughout the
entire day. We are also offering a Prize Board, where there is a guarantee
to win something worth $25 or greater for a $20 donation. We will also be
holding 2 separate silent auctions – 1 for the morning session and 1 for the
afternoon.
How many volunteers serve on the
committee?
Currently, there are 20
volunteers serving on the committee.
What do the volunteers enjoy most about
serving on this committee?
Networking and working with other Chamber members to
pull together an amazing event, socialization with members they normally may
not get a chance to work with, and being part of a fabulous event for the
Chamber!
