| The U.S. Chamber Accrediting Board
awarded 22 chambers with Accreditation last week. Six
received this recognition for the first time; 16 others were
reaccredited.
We are pleased to announce that the
Westerville Area Chamber of Commerce received a 4-star
rating. We are excited about this rating and thank all the
wonderfully talented individuals who helped in the
comprehensive process, led by Bobbi Allen, Mt. Carmel St.
Ann's.
We are proud to promote this
accomplishment as the only Suburban Chamber in Central Ohio
to be accredited!
Accreditation recognizes those chambers
that have defined, reached, and maintained basic operational
performance standards and that have significantly
contributed to the good of their community, region, state,
and country.
The program also helps chambers enhance
leadership development, benchmark procedures and
performance, develop a realistic program of work—and most
importantly, improve membership development.
