Marketing
Opportunities
One of the roles of the Chamber is to
offer opportunities for our members to promote their
business and to do so at a reasonable cost. There are
several ways that local businesses can get involved in the
Chamber and the community and promote their business at the
same time. Here are some opportunities to consider:
Newsletter Ads the
Chamber will now be publishing a newsletter every other
month and will offer to member businesses the opportunity to
include a business card sized ad in each issue for a cost of
$150 for the whole year. This means that 6 times
during the year, your business name will be in front of over
225 other businesses the owners, the employees by means
of direct mail. In addition, the newsletters will be
posted to the PhelpsNY.com web site and extra copies will be
available to the public at strategic locations in the
community.
Newsletter Inserts
nothing gets noticed like an insert; with the same
distribution as listed above, the insert allows a business
to make a special offer and give much more detail about
their business. A member business can purchase an
insert for $50 per publication (6 publications per year) if
they provide 250 copies to the Chamber. For $60, the
Chamber will take responsibility for making the copies and
the business simply needs to supply the insert (via hard
copy or electronically).
Web Ads with the newly
redesigned web site going live in April, the Chamber will
begin to offer ad space on the Chamber page. Thousands
of people view the PhelpsNY.com site, especially at
Sauerkraut Festival time. The Chamber is offering
banner ads for a two week time period at $20 each. At
this great price, if your business looks to the Phelps
residents and visitors for patronage, you cant afford not
to take advantage of this marketing opportunity!
Event
Sponsorships the Chamber, the Community Center,
the Library, the Historical Society and many of the other
community organizations hold events throughout the year
where your support is critical. The Chamber and
Community Center events for the year are listed below so
that you can consider these when planning on how to
distribute your community marketing dollars this year.
