As you are aware, a Chamber of Commerce thrives on its active volunteers; it cannot be successful without participation from its members and especially its Board of Directors. It is essential that our Board of Directors attend Board of Directors meetings and other functions that the Chamber holds on a regular basis. As it states in the By-laws, if a Board member misses three consecutive meetings, unexcused, he or she shall be dropped from the Board. This is necessary in order to keep an active Board of Directors.

I regret to inform you, since you have missed more than three consecutive meetings, it is necessary to drop you as a member of the Board of Directors. If sometime in the future, you feel you can become an active participant, we would more than welcome you as a Board member as soon as an opening occurs. We thank you for the support you have given the Chamber and if I can be of service to you, please do not hesitate to call.
