Mayor Marilyn Lorenzen will be the guest
of honor as she presents the second annual State of the City Address
at a breakfast meeting hosted by the Gem County Chamber of Commerce.
The breakfast will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 7:30 AM at
Fourth Street Gardens.
According to chamber executive Linda Jackson, tickets are expected to
go quickly for this annual event. "Last year we sold out and we
expect a similar response this year," she said.
During the meeting, Lorenzen will discuss the financial outlook of the
City of Emmett, as well as the challenges and opportunities that
accompany the forecasted growth of the community.
Tickets for the breakfast and presentation are $18 for chamber
members; $20 for non-members. Table pricing and event sponsorships
are also available.
