Scott Shanes accepts Chair-elect position We are very pleased to announce that Scott Shanes has accepted the position of chairman-elect for the Plano Chamber of Commerce board of directors. He will be filling the spot recently vacated by Buzz Kolbe who has taken the position of Director of Education with the chamber. Scott has been a member of the board since 2006, most recently holding the position of Vice-Chair of Business Development. He is an attorney & partner with Strausburger & Price, LLP, which has been a Chairman’s Council member of the chamber since 2005. He holds a B.A., summa cum laude, from Ohio State University and a J.D. from The University of Texas at Austin.
