May’s BizBriefs seminar, presented by CollegeAmerica,
will educate companies about the benefits of using
college interns. With tight budgets, more and more
companies have begun to rely on fewer people to perform
more duties. Interns can offer current employees an
extra pair of hands for big projects, as well as,
routine and daily tasks. Interns can also provide
fresh ideas and enthusiastic attitudes, a key
component in the success of any organization. Companies
that utilize the intern systems available in Fort
Collins are able treat the program like a “working
interview”. Many times an intern is hired on when
positions are available within the company because
managers realize that the amount of time and money spent
on training a new employee is minimized by hiring
someone who is already familiar with the business.
