SHCC Internship: |
An opportunity to have
extensive contact with 500 members of the south hills business
community through diversified projects of the South Hills Chamber
of Commerce (SHCC) and the South Hills Chamber of Commerce
Education Foundation (SHCCEF).
The Chamber office is located in the heart of the south hills
business community. It is equipped with state-of-the-art
technology and in the process of launching its "Business Activity
Center" and fund-raising for its newly incorporated "Education
Foundation".
Projects will develop an intern's communications, public
relations, marketing, computer technology, fund-raising skills.
Some of the special projects include: Annual Golf Outing; "Cruisin'
Oldies Fest"; Education Series Workshops; Grant-writing; Database
Management; Public Relations; Marketing; Government Affairs; and
Volunteer Coordination.
This is an opportunity to be mentored by the chief executive
officer of a regional chamber of commerce. The internship includes
extensive community and business exposure for the highly
motivated.
Hours: Flexible during regular business day of Monday-Friday, 9:00
- 5:00
