September 26, 2001.
Operating a successful business is a challenge. Local executives
approached The Chamber to find forums to discuss strategic
issues without having to fend off an unwanted sales pitch or to
worry that the competition was learning their weaknesses. They
wanted a sounding board of peers - not their employees, familty
members, or significant other. CEOs discuss business problems
and opportunities with CEOs. So in 1990, the CEO Roundtable was
formed.
The
CEO
Roundtable is a non-selling, non-competing program. It
exists to solve problems and generate profit-making ideas. The
Chamber has allowed this model to evolve.

Last year, The Chamber recognized the need for cheif information
officers, CIOs, to have this same forum. The
CIO Roundtable
provides this opportunity for information technology
decision-makers.
Today,
many CEOs seek development opportunities to improve their own
performance and enhance the bottom line. The Chamber and
WorkSmart Learning Systems, Inc. are now offering
The
Integrated Leader. This program has a proven track record in
helping executives build capactiy to perform better, faster and
cheaper than the competition.
The challenge executives face now is how to lead
dynamic enterprises that can quickly and effectively respond to
a variety of factors, such as new technology, increased global
competition, shifting workforce demands, economic downturns and
the like. The Chamber is confident that the CEO Roundtable, CIO
Roundtable, and The Integrated Leader will help you meet these
challenges successfully.
Sincerely,
Thomas T. Mooney
President,
Greater Rochester Metro Chamber of Commerce
