The Fair will be held this year from March 1st to March 7th in Shanghai. The Fair has hosted over 100,000 business people from over 150 countries since it’s inception in 1991. Thus, the USPRC has arranged a ten day tour of China terminating in Shanghai in time for the Fair. Briefly, the tour itinerary includes air transportation from Los Angeles to Beijing on February 22, air transport between Beijing and Shanghai, and return air transportation from Shanghai to Los Angeles. The tour will be conducted by bilingual professional tour guides. The cities of Beijing, Zhouzhuang, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Shanghai will be visited. The tour ends in Shanghai in time for attendance at the 13th East China Fair from March 1st through March 3rd. An extended stay through the end of the Fair (March 7th) can be arranged at an additional price of $50 per person, per day (double occupancy). A more detailed itinerary is provided below.
While at the East China Fair, local support from USPRC will be provided to assist in resolving any language difficulties or other support to facilitate the trade process.
This special USPRC “East China Fair and Tour” package is priced at US$1,595. Included in the package price are round-trip coach class air transportation from Los Angeles, all hotels (deluxe or better), all meals through March 1, airport transfers, touring coach, and admissions to tour locations. All accommodations presume double occupancy – an additional $480 is required for single occupancy. A round-trip business class airline upgrade can be purchased for an additional $1,200. For any Chamber sending six or more persons, a seventh person may be sent free of charge. Detailed Itinerary · Day 1 - Saturday o - Travel from Los Angeles to Beijing via wide bodied jet across the International Date Line. · Day 2 - o – Arrive in the late afternoon in Beijing, China’s cultural center for the past 700 years, meet your national and local tour directors, and transfer to a deluxe hotel. · Day 3 - Monday, o – Tour Beijing including the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and the Summer Palace with a Chinese acrobatic show in the evening. · Day 4 - Tuesday, o – Tour nearby Beijing with a visit to the Great Wall and a tour of the Tombs of Ming Emperors ending the day with an authentic Beijing duck dinner. · Day 5 - Wednesday, o – Travel by air and coach to Suzhou, the Venice of the East, with a tour of Tiger Hill and the Hanshen Temple en-route. · Day 6 - Thursday, o – Tour Suzhou, the city of silk and Watertown (Tongli). Sightseeing also includes a boat tour of the West Lake, and tours of the Ling Yin Temple and Yue Fei Mausoleum arriving at Hangzhou for the evening. · Day 7 - Friday, o – Tour Hangzhou and transfer by coach to Shanghai for a night time tour. · Day 8 - Saturday, o – A morning tour of Shanghai includes the Yu-Yuan Garden & Bazaar, the Bund and Nanking Shopping Road. After the tour enjoy the beginning of the 13th East China Fair. · Day 9 - Sunday, o – Continued attendance at the 13th East China Fair. · Day 10 - Monday, o – Continued attendance at the 13th East China Fair.
