Membership Development

Having an e-mail newsletter is good news for your Chamber.

  • The members get their information much quicker
  • It’s a great way to keep them up-to-date on what the chamber is doing.
  • The Chamber will save thousands of dollars a year in postage and faxing costs.

  • Each time you send an email, it should have a link to your Chamber’s home page.  It is a strong reminder to visit the Chamber website. Again, you are keeping your members up-to-date on what the chamber is doing.
  • A well informed member will help keep the renewals to the chamber coming in.
  • The more visitors you have to your site, the better your statistics look.

I have just one real question; how often do you send out your e-mail newsletter?
I get a lot of e-mail from Chambers from all over.

  • One everyday is just too many
  • Once a week is great
  • Once a month is fine.

Here is a list of some of the chambers that send their e-mail newsletter to chamber101 Click Here
Sign up for these newsletters and see what other chambers are doing with their e-mail newsletters.

Newsletter - The law: Now says you must have an unsubscribe option as part of your newsletter or any mass e-mailing you do.
