Upgrades to Chamber101 We are going to do an upgrade on chamber101 but
with over 5,000 pages and adding new pages everyday, it is going to take
some time. We have an excellent search on the site. We will make it
better by adding reference words to the file (key words like Policy,
Procedure, etc.) We will be revising by putting the newest pages
first. We will also create policy procedure pages within the directory
such as Mixers: Business-After-Five where there are about 250 files.
What is that old saying, “You have to kiss a lot of frogs before you
find your prince or princess.” With these changes and others we can only
improve the site, and again make it easier for you our chamber101
member. I wish there was more on policies and procedures. I
would like more Chambers to send the complete project (http://www.chamber101.com/studyguide/considerthis.htm
). We post all the samples and examples and whatever chambers send us. We have a lot of members that are involved and some
just pay their dues. What percentage of your membership is involved?
Chamber101 membership is no different than your membership. We have some
that send their best examples and samples while other members have sent
nothing. As a CEO of a Chamber I have said, “If all of our
members were involved we could not handle it.” But as CEO of chamber101,
I would love it if all members were involved. Chamber101 is a super
resource. As one chamber executive from With the help of our membership (chamber staff, the
ones that really run the chamber) we can only get better. When was the
last time you sent data? The next time when sending your best examples
and samples send the complete project. Sending
policy and procedures is always in order.
